The Timeline and Structure of the NSB

In the national finals, the top teams from each region participate in quiz bowl-style matches, answering questions on a wide range of scientific topics. 


While applications for 2024 have closed, the NSB competition for 2025 will be held from April 24 - April 28.

The NSB is open to all high school students who are enrolled in grades 9-12 at the time of the competition and meet any additional criteria stipulated by their regional coordinator.
