AI Fellowship

Create a novel AI project independently with 1-1 mentorship over 12-15 weeks. Showcase what you’re passionate about with an individual project.

Duration
25 hours over 10 weeks (weekends) OR 25 hours over 2 weeks (weekdays during the summer).
12-15 weeks
Structure
Section lectures for 1.5 hours and group session with a 5:1 student to mentor ratio for 1 hour (total: 2.5 hours per session).
1-1 sessions with a mentor who is an AI practitioner or researcher.
Pre-requisites
None
Basic understanding of Python or completion of AI Scholars is required.
Student Background
Grades 9-12, with exceptions for students in middle school with a coding background.
High school students and advanced middle school students for the program.
Output
A group project with 3-5 other students
A novel AI model in a field of your interest.

Veritas AI has a credit partnership with the University of California, San Diego Extended Studies. 

If you successfully complete the AI Scholars, Deep Dives, or AI Fellowship programs, you will also be eligible to receive 3 post-baccalaureate credits and a digital transcript from UCSD Extended Studies!
